1. The Scan to Play Principle

VoiceWave Art turns meaningful recordings into artwork you can live with every day. When Scan to Play is enabled, an elegant, discreet QR code is precision-rendered into your chosen artwork layout (corner or back), allowing you or your gift recipient to instantly replay the original audio with a smartphone camera.

Scan to Play works natively with the default camera app on any modern iOS or Android device. No app store download or account registration is needed for recipients to listen.

2. Artwork-Linked Cryptographic Authority

Unlike public video sharing or generic link shorteners, each playable piece is permanently bound to a unique, immutable Artwork ID. Private playback access is governed by trusted cryptographic sessions:

Order-Linked Activation: After purchase, a secure activation link connects the verified purchaser to the authorized artwork.
Revocable Trusted Sessions: Playback uses short-lived, encrypted streaming tokens rather than exposing permanent, guessable public file URLs.
Zero Public Exposure: Customer recordings are strictly private customer media. They are never indexed by search engines, cataloged in public galleries, or shared with third parties.

3. Cloudflare R2 Audio Security & Encryption

Your authentic acoustic audio (vows, first words, pet sounds, or memorial voices) is stored on encrypted Cloudflare R2 cloud infrastructure featuring:

At-Rest Encryption: AES-256 standard encryption for all stored waveform masters and audio files.
In-Transit Encryption: TLS 1.3 encrypted audio streaming directly to the playback player.
Direct CDN Streaming: Fast, buffer-free playback hosted in global edge data centers across 300+ cities worldwide.

4. Retention, Renewal & Deletion Rights

Customers maintain complete control over their voice recordings at all times:

Production vs. Playback Storage: You choose whether the audio is stored strictly for production print rendering or maintained for ongoing playback.
On-Demand Deletion: You can request permanent, irreversible deletion of your audio file and Artwork ID at any time by contacting support.
Long-Term Preservation: Active playback keepsakes include cloud hosting with guaranteed continuity and renewal protections.
